Oil filled dye error? Messed up lettering on liberty

    Take your pictures with the coin out of the plastic so it doesn't distort so much

    Yes - but looks like the L was distorted from a coin rolling machine. Not a mint error. But that is just my opinion, others may have a different view.

    And just to help you out - it's "grease filled die" for your subject.

    It looks like this without turning it \ with putting it angled it looks like a M

    Yes - that is caused by the fingers of the machine that crimp the rolls contacting the L and pushing it towards the I, leaving a ghost portion of the actual placement of the L.
