Where are the 2003's?????????

78 days into the new year and the only 2003 coin I've found is an Illinois P. As a "from change" collector 2003 has been a disappointment so far. Are you having trouble too? I live in Columbus, Ohio so it's not like I'm in the middle of nowhere. Has COINSTAR emptied Joe Public's coin can so completely that there is a glut and no need for newer coins to be released?

Sort of an update. Got an Alabama P in change yesterday (098.2003). Still no other 2003 coins received yet.

 

I haven't seen a single one in circulation yet. Even the quarters, which is unusual.

 

Another update: things are finally starting to show up. In addition to the coins I've already mentioned I now have a P Lincoln, P Jefferson and P & D Roosevelt. Still slow going but getting better.

2003's in circulation

Hey, guys.
I've noticed an increasing lag between the release date on the new state quarters and when they're found in circulation.
It took me almost six weeks to get an Alabama quarter in change, and I still haven't seen a Maine quarter, even though they've been out for almost a month.
You never know, though. I could get get two of them over the weekend.
