In the third picture, you can see the thread of silver that is over the coin, 'attached' at both ends.
Please pardon my ever increasing iffy vision and inability to see this on my own, but the anomaly is indeed raised? I wish I could better see the 0 in particular.
As an amatuer collector, that sounds correct to me. Probably no premium, but cool to have in my collection.
Yes, it is 'raised'. It is like a thread of silver over the coin, that is atached to the coin at both ends.
You know, this could be quite valuable as these coins are made as well as a business strike will allow.
I'm not quite sure what you were attempting to say in the second half of your post, but just to be clear, this isn't a proof strike. I would be highly surprised if such a thing turned out to be highly valuable, but certainly premium worthy if it is indeed what I'm thinking.
Definitely looks like that "rolling fold," though I would never have come up with that on my own. I would say it's premium-worthy, as ASE errors are quite uncommon. Just out of curiosity, have you weighed it on a gram scale? Does it weigh 31.103 grams?
The curve looks too perfect to be some sort of break. It does look raised, so it appears to be some sort of damage to the die. Maybe @mikediamond will chime in. Chris
Looks like a fin has broken loose from the rim and is still attached at the other end. No added silver, just the extruded rim of this coin.
