I guess this did make it a little trickly-er, no-one guessed correctly. I believe both coins are undergraded, or at the very least solid for said grades.. Because thatz how I roll!

 

Did they have plus grades when these were originally graded? I could see either of these getting 65 if the grader was in a good mood. Both have excellent strikes and nice luster. I'd still give them 64+.

 

The walker is a very early ngc holder, so no + back then, I agree with your assessment Paul, I could easily see both in 64 + holders.(I've seen worse NGC slabbed 65s) I paid $50 each coin

You guys crack me up. I thought about trying to share the humor in this thread with my wife, but gave up the thought. There would have to be all kinds of explanations about certification services/TPGs. When something needs to be explained, it ceases to be funny. But I got a lot of LOLs! Thanks, everyone!

I'd like to change my grades after seeing these pics to +46.

 

I would have guessed MS65 on the WLH and MS64 on the Peace Dollar. The WLH does look undergraded at MS63 to me.
