I can see this new add-on feature already! PCGS now offers UPSIDE PLUS! For an extra $10 you can now have your coin graded upside down AND right side up so your coin gets a bonus extra 5 seconds under the glass upside down to look for any imperfections one might have missed

Probably the biggest advantage to grading them upside down is that you won't have any hair fall onto the coin before encapsulation. Then again, what if it is a rainy day, and the graders have mud on their shoes?

A new government regulation state that all TPG 's must wipe their feet at the door, and wear a hair net while grading a coin. Failure to do so is punishable by no less then 1 year with a maximum of 10 years of answering stupid questions in the error section, and what it's worth sections of Coin Talk coin forum.

 

One or two non-collectors have asked me why the label is upside down on slabbed coins when they look at the reverse for the first time. If you think about it, it wouldn't be hard to orientate it to the coin, but they don't. They just need to turn the printing plate for that side 180%. Here's a little known fact to most. If the reverse is the more interesting of the two sides, you can ask PCGS or NGC to turn the coin in the slab. The reverse right side up with the information side of the label.

 

I say 64+ for both.
