    Frank,I have seen some of these.They look like they're .900 fine silver or higher,especially with the $1 coin.I don't see how you can tell that you can tell that they are clad.

    Because what he posted are the actual specifications of the coin. They are silver clad.

    Aidan, believe it or not the US Mint actually publicizes the precise composition of each coin it produces; and the publisher of the Red Book relies on that information, not the opinions of a part-time coin shop employee from New Zealand.

    For once in your life, have the honesty to use the [​IMG] icon and admit that you've been caught in an error.
