I'm curious on how much these are going for these days. But I'd think it'll be $50-$70

It's a nice note, but the lack of an EPQ designation would be a deal breaker for me.

Personally I would wait, save up a little more to afford an example with more eye appeal. These N.African $10 SC's look so much better in higher grades with the yellow seal and blue "10" against a background of clean, white paper. Even just a couple grades higher makes a big difference.

I think the it's a bit pricey, especially with the staining.

What does EPQ stand for and PPQ?

My only pricing source says "yes".
    $45-50 is more reasonable.

$40-$50, like Steve in Tampa said, wait for one that's nice and clean, the blue and gold look so much better with no stains

PMG uses EPQ which stands for Exceptional Paper Quality. PCGS uses PPQ which I believe is Premium Paper Quality. They pretty much mean the same thing...

Well, buying only graded notes is fine but remember: "Buy the note and not the holder." Stay at it and learn, learn, learn how to grade and put your opinion into the mix of deal making. Oh, $50 seems a good deal.:)
