My initial impression was a 64 obverse and then reverse 63. I said 63+ and others seem to be shooting for this grade as well. 63+ here.
The last photo was shot in the dark, to show everyone that, the scratches, while there, are barely noticeable in-hand.... Not sure if it didn't actually hurt more than help.. The luster is good although the toning mutes it a squoze
If this coin IS graded 65, you will look like a genius.... That my friend, will hafta remain to be seen..... Stay tuned
Luster is strong, the strike is average. Eye appeal is hurt a little bit by the tarnish on the reverse. The fields look remarkably clean, but the somewhat severe marks on her cheekbone, neck, and temple should hold this back from gem status, in my opinion. Thus, I am also going to grade it 64.
That's an awesome looking coin the biggest gash looks likes it right at the bottom of her jaw I wish you the best
The winner is....... Chris, was the 1st to guess correctly, unfortunately, he was disqualified for teetering his grade.....
An invisible trophy goes to all who guessed correctly,to me, In-hand, this coin is solid for the grade.... Thanks for playing
