You have not convinced me yet. At 9.81g, it is 3g heavier than my limited experience with the casts suggests. My lightest struck as of the period is in the high 8g range with most being 10g. My lion cast is my heaviest at 6.8g. I find it interesting that all the asses have drums but I attribute that to the type being a New Years special issue and the thunderbolts were not out yet. The casts were probably made from one original or from a coin from the early days. On the other hand, I have other CIG asses that are not known to me struck so you may be onto something there.
Geta cast as - have you seen it is struck?

Geta was murdered by Caracalla in the presence of their mother Julia Domna. Septimius Severus left the empire to the sons jointly but Caracalla wanted it all.

Rated scarce, second consulship and uncertain mint, this silver Tet of Caracalla struck me with the Emperor's Eye- appeal. Prieur 1735 C. Caracalla O 001.jpg CaracaBillon R 001.jpg

Yes, they are real, and they belong to him. He is a very experienced and renowned European collector.
