Saw this on Coin News. Not really too impressed with any of the designs. What do you all think?

I don't mind them. Most of them are kind of bland but at least they aren't ugly.

EDIT: I didn't scroll down and see the blown-up versions. I actually kind of like all of them.

 

I like the 4th 1.

 

My Favorite

 

That's probably my favorite out of all of them

 

Nice designs. I am looking forward to each release.

 

Like a couple of youse, I like the Shawnee. Next would be the Harpers Ferry. I'm seriously thinking of dropping my subscription, though.

Shawnee is definitely my favorite. Most boring is the Harper's Ferry.

 

They're definitely getting lazy with some of their designs... and why the heck didn't they choose Ft. Sumter instead of Ft. Moultrie? They're separated by a mile of water, so it isn't like they'd be snubbing some unrecognized community by taking away the honor from Ft. Moultrie, and they could've done so much more with a Ft. Sumter scene.

So, what do you think the large coin is in the plaque Bidle is presenting - a 5oz Puck?

 

The Fort Moultrie coin is going to confuse a lot of people as they are going to assume the soldier wearing the fez is a Turk and that he is waving a Turkish flag.

 

Shawnee one is nice, but they are running out of the pretty National Parks at this point and getting into a lot of historical locations. Hasn't been a National Monument or Historical one that I've cared for at all in this series, but most of the parks have been nice.

 

When/why did they choose to go with Ft. Moultrie instead of Ft. Sumter? I'm guessing the PC-Police have run amok again.... Oh no! Ft. Sumter was important for the Civil War! We can't have that!

Well, the joke's on them.... Ft. Moultrie was the first to be seized by the Confederates, who used it to bombard the Union troops stationed in Fort Sumter. Or maybe the Union continues to refuse to admit defeat in the first battle of the War of Northern aggression?

As a Charlestonian, I can appreciate the history of both

I ordered the P and D for Shawnee today off Ebay. I can't wait for the program to be over. That and the Presidential Dollars, totally burned out on them. But I keep collecting them anyway.
