Adams errors on ebay already.. pretty weak attempts though. one rim-shift and a bunch of off-center, one die-crack that isn't even a die crack, and then theres my auction.. a novel approach to getting the word out about the fakes.. search "260118935098".

It is all in perspective. Compare how many coins have the date on them to this one that doesn't? In that instance this would be an extremely rare coin. How many coins do you know of have gone through the mint and dispersed to the public that didn't have a date on it? That is one of the reasons I had to have 4 slabbed by NGC for peace of mind.

Don't forget there are IMO more out there that were not graded

I know this is an old thread, but I thought it would be interesting to see where this has gone. In June of 2007 these were listed on Numismedia of having a value of $185.00 in MS65. As of today they are listed for $82.50 and you could probably get them for a lot less.

a LOT less. A couple weeks ago I picked up one of the special sets Littleton put together. It has the error slabbed PCGS MS65 and 2 more non errors with the two different orientations of the lettering in a presentation case. The guy I got it from was so disgusted with how far they had fallen that he sold it to me for $25.
