First, welcome to the neighborhood, @Henrique Ribeiro !

It would have been better if you had posted your question in "What's it Worth" or "World Coins".

Just so you know, solicitations for sale are only allowed in the B/S/T forums.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

    Henrique,

There is no need to apologize about your English. It is quite good. Your piece is a gold sovereign, one of the most frequently seen gold coins from Britain. The surfaces of yours seems a little rough or granular. This may be normal. I don't know this series that well. It may also be a sign of a cast counterfeit. Some of it may also be jpg file artifacts from compressing the photo file more than is wise. Determining whether the coin is genuine would require a closer look under more magnification than can be done here, especially the tiny spaces near the edges.

    Kurt,
I do not know why there is a counterfeit just here in Brazil.
Anyway, before I try to find some expert here, I will provide pictures with higher resolution.
Thank you very much for now,
    Henrique

It might be a Half Sovereign, first you will have to measure and weigh it.

The Half-Sovereign is 19.30 mm in diameter and weighs 3.99g.
The Sovereign is 22.05 mm in diameter, 1.52 mm thick and weighs 7.9881 grams.

I'll weigh and measure today because I am very curious! hehehe

The coin belongs to my daughter.

    See you later,
    Henrique

I know the series. So far so good; BUT I need to see magnified photos of the coin's surface. The original coin photos show a very suspicious granular surface, enough so that I wouldn't touch it. Incidentally, C/F's are all over the world including South America.:grumpy:

    Good morning folks,
Get better photos of the coin.
I put attached to this message.

P.S .: The announcement of workmanship that Ebay coin really is absurd.

    Thanks for attention.

Looks authentic, but looks like it's been cleaned. Also, please only hold coins by the edge. You don't want the oils from you fingers getting on the surfaces of the coin. AND you don't want to wipe the coin either. It will leave fine hairlines which lower the value of the coin.

Looks OK. All the granulation in the first photo is gone.

Now, if you wish to and have the time...Can you try to photograph the coin in florescent light using the same camera as in Post#14?

That will take all the glare off the surface. Florescent light is the BEST light to use when authenticating a coin.

    Hi folks,

I photographed with the fluorescent light.
I'm not sure if it was very good, but either way, sending the files attached.

    Thank you,
    Henrique

Looks OK but I cannot believe there is still "glare" from the surface.
