Still learning about ancients and clueless about this starter. It seems like horses on coins were quite popular in Syracuse and Carthage, but apart from that, no other clues.

As always, I appreciate any insights from the experts!:D

I'm not 100% certain but it looks like:
SNGCop 209 Carthage, Zeugitana. Circa 264-241 BC. AE 24mm. Sardinian mint. Head of Tanit left, wearing earring and wreath of grain ears; dotted border / Horse standing right; Punic letters BT below; linear border. Müller 199.

My humble thanks, to you Mr Bing! Your knowledge is greatly appreciated! The coin from your link definitely looks like mine. I've never seen a Carthage example like this one...

It certainly seems like Bing is correct and it does resemble the two bronzes I picked up the last few months....except the horse's head is facing straight, while the more typical examples have it turning backwards

Thanks, Mikey See! I like your bronzes better with the horse looking backward :)

Although I'm no expert of those by far, I've seen some of them and the style looks crude to me. Some local strike out of the official ?

    Maybe just me

The older versions (circa 200 BC) mostly look a bit crude like the OP version...
