    Hi from Brazil
    I'm sorry for my english.
I have a 22k gold coin in 1895 Queen Victoria.
    How much is this coin?
    Someone is interested?

I managed to take measurements, and I forward the photos and measurements for analysis:
    Diameter: approximately22.00? (vide photo)

    Thick: approximately1.56mm (vide photo)

    Weighs: 7.9672 grams (vide photo)

Spaces near the edges: vide photo from magnifier.

Many thanks and all the best.
    Henrique

Just do an ebay search for 1895 gold sovereign, and then select 'sold listings only' (far left column)

It is a common bullion coin so nice condition does not get much of a premium.

I did some searching before posting here.

Still, I think it might be interesting to someone.

    Thank you,
    Henrique

Well, not really. Yours is not graded, looks as if it has been in salt water a long time, and shows some wear.

The price of the listed one is absurd anyway, and only sold prices are worth comparing.

I thought about that too, and I know you're right on the certification and on market prices.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me.

    Thank you,
    Henrique

    Good morning folks,
Get better photos of the coin.
I put attached to this message.

P.S .: The announcement of workmanship that Ebay coin really is absurd.

    Thanks for attention.

Ebay sold listings are right around $300.

The surface looks more natural. The grade is in my opinion, EF. This is quite a typical grade for a coin that saw relatively little circulation. THey did not change hands a dozen times a day like coppers and small silver.

Two things, you are looking at asking prices, not what examples actually sold for, also you are looking at higher grade, in some cases certified coins. Check the sold listings, $300 give or take is what circulated sovereigns have actually been selling for.

Okay. Excuse my lack of experience.
I plan on making a notice of sale on Ebay.

    Thank's for your attention.

    Hi folks,

I photographed with the fluorescent light.
I'm not sure if it was very good, but either way, sending the files attached.

    Thank you,
    Henrique
