Welcome all the latest pocket change find looks like a well circulated 2005 Kansas D MINT quarter dollar, it does not have the extra hump on back but there is a nice chip between the eyes favoring the left eye please enjoyed the photos.
Looks like a little bit of lamination. As soon as you get a "use a toothpick to see if you can pry it up" response then you know it is for sure!!
First off thank you for your reply I acquired a long time ago a set of dental hard plastic picks and I checked every coin in question and even though I believe the word is not used correctly it is a chip
I don't know if these closeups will help but they help me identified one thing that Chip is actually in the left I cavity I'm providing a little more closeups AT 2X and 4X and I know that endoscope takes horrible photos and that one photo looks like the buffalo has an eye patch I can see where this question came from.
