I don't know if this has been posted before (or is old news), but I think some will find this interesting. Here is the article (with pic). http://www.busrep.co.za/index.php?fSectionId=&fArticleId=2251219 Best Regards, - Hal
I am sure this woman loves this photo. If you have black hair, do not get you photo taken in front of a black background. You will look like a floating head. Here is a better photo.
I'd rather have this one ( see below ) - the most valuable coin in the world. At least so far Ed Reiter article picture
Wow, she is kind of cute OK BACK TO THE TOPIC NOW .....................................BIG GOLD COIN!
Ok the second photo of her is much better. Bacchus, if you know this person,I apologize for my statement and even if you don't I'm still sorry.
No offense taken. I don't know her, but a couple years ago I was on a site where someone posted a picture of a woman and several people made disparaging remarks about her looks (much worse than "guy in drag"). Turned out the woman was a member of the site who posted frequently. I learned that, hey, this is the Internet, not a closed meeting, and anybody can be reading this. Very unlikely, of course, that the woman in the picture frequents this site, but if she is into coins, she might. Probably no big deal, but it's an easy to overlook viewpoint.
This medal-coin from Austria is the prince of all medal-coins,as it has been dethroned as the king of all medal-coins by the Coinzilla from Canada. Aidan.
Aidan---Roy isn't trying to be negative but helpful. When an old thread is pulled to the front page it messes people up sometimes to see many differnt members that don't post anymore....and also when seeing something on the front page it makes people think that the infomation is new....this is not new... Speedy
Aidan, I agree, every time you pull one of these out of the past I have to make sure I go back to the beginning to see when it started. Normally I go straight to the last post and work backwards if the dialog and content is of interest. There have been many times I missed it and commented on one of the new posts without realizing the thread was very old. Roy's large warnings are at least is a beacon to try to get the attention of the other members. Some old posts are very interesting to go through so I appreciate you finding them and bringing them forward, but I would rather know up front it's very old. Maybe when you bring one forward you should alert everyone to the fact it's very old and then Roy would not have to. Best Regards Darryl
