Ive had this item for a while now, I found it in my garden. Im not sure if it is a medal or coin. It is 11/2 inches in diameter and approx 5ml thick and quite heavy. It does have a little hook on the top (as though it was threaded on a ribbon) and it has a round studded outline and then a risen inner circl with a sideways picture of Napoleon on and NAPOLEON written on one side of his picture and BONAPARTE on the other side of his picture. On the reverse is a studded outline again and then a picture of the eiffel tower and some other buildings and 'PARIS' in big letters at the bottom. Does anyone have any idea about it and how much it might be worth? I will try and upload a picture but not quite sure how?! Thankyou
Welcome aboard,LeBe.What you have got there is a French commemorative medal of some sort.To upload a picture, you can use a photo hosting website like this one here; www.imageshack.us & you can link to it from there to here. Aidan.
Thanks Aidan. I have tried to do a picture on here an it said it was too big and now I just tried with the link you gave me and i got the picture on there but then nothing happened afterwards!
