I looked on Wexler's site, Coneca's e-book (highly recommended), and Coppercoins. It's not listed. It's fairly minor but I believe it's the real deal.
It could be. I don't know. It looks interesting. It could be rotated clockwise from K-2. The tail of the 9 opened up, and the outer 8 looks like it's going in the same direction the inner 8 to a lesser degree.
Oh well. You guys are right. When something looks different I just like a second opinion before I toss it. Since I found the other 1988-D, I've been looking too close at the other ones I see. haha.
