Cool I've seen it in action many times and have bought some past commemorative issues struck on it from Ken Hopple's private collection (the guy operating the press) Fun fact: when ken is minting them on demand he likes to tell people to touch the blank planchet so their DNA or fingerprint will be forever pressed into the coin. Kinda cool
I was up there during the last coin show and they were minting them. I guess I should have asked and got one. There's always next year, it was a good show.
I wish someone had the GSA documentary 900 fine. I've searched and searched and can't find it anywhere. All I find is the "preview"
Have you tried calling the gsa? Might take some holds and callbacks and speak to this person to speak to that person but if you can get a copy it will be well worth the trouble. And don't forget to share
