So I read that this nickle is hard to find, In good grade. Found here,http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/84076 If anyone can give me any input I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Hi Twospirits and welcome to CT. The coin in the link you provided is Full Step Jefferson nickel graded MS66. However, your coin is not Full Steps, and his highly circulated, thus making it just one of the more than 1.7 billion nickels minted that year in Denver.
Yea I seen they had a lot of em so I figured there not nothing to special but hey you never know lol. And thanks
First, I would respectfully suggest you take a little time to learn about grading as its one of the most important aspects of this hobby. "Good" as mentioned in your post is actually a very low grade, so learning even the basics should help ward off confusion. There are many factors to consider when valuing a coin, so for time being, if you've a genuine interest in coins, take it slow and don't worry about trying to find that high value gem hiding in a haystack. It isn't likely to happen anyway, and if putting money into your pocket is a desire, do understand that more can be achieved from settling for base hits than from always swinging for the fences.
