I open up one of my partial rolls of 1986 eagles and this is to be found!

It didn't look like that when I last looked through these. This other one was in there with it so maybe it transferred. Still a sweet looking coin.

I think I am missing something. I can see an Eagle with weird tarnish?

Very nice. Try putting them back in the roll opposite 2 others and place back where you did and wait to see if more do the same thing. :)

The blackish one was an original top. I had 5 rolls and just put all the toned ones into one roll.
It's a sunset orange toning. It's really an amazing looking coin!

oh I did! This took a few years so it might take a while to see if it works.

These toned in standard ase plastic rolls? That's strange. Or was it paper?

Yes, entire monster box was like that.
Everyone that was touching the green lid had some type of toning. Most of it was just ugly dark toning. I'll add a pic of those other ones shortly.

Ignore the blast white coins. The others were the tops.

I bought 5 rolls and every top was toned at least a little. The guy I bought them from said he never touched them after he bought them in 1986.

The 5th one was the really dark one shown above.

Must have been from the atmosphere seeping in between the tube and green tops

I would put them in an airtight capsule before the toning starts to turn ugly.
