This Just arrived in the mail today.. my first coin since November and with the obverse upside down MOESIA, Istros. 4th century BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.29 g, 6h). Two facing male heads, the left inverted / Sea-eagle left, grasping dolphin with talons; ΔT monogram below. AMNG I 421; SNG BM Black Sea 254-5. Good VF, toned.
From what i have seen, the better portrait facing right side up is usually what people do. Also i think i was wrong CNG said this was right side up in 2014
For example => I went and found this sweet example from the CNG achives to show the difference between the two face orientations ... oh, and that's my sweet coin once again on the bottom (hi guys)
almost 3 months without a coin! well, i'm glad you broke that dry streak with a sweet greek piece of silver! nice oblique shot...i dig that!
