Hi all just wondering if I can hit up the experts here since I get awesome feedback from you all. Anyone have any information on whether this is common.
To me it looks like a lamination crack/peel under the date. They aren't that common. I found one nearly identical to yours but a 1957. I asked on here and was told it was worth between $! to $5.
It looks like a die crack to me. With 1954S what you want to look for is this die crack: It's called a San Jose connect and they're hard to find. They sold for $5-8 in the 60's.
