Back in 1985 I was able to buy coins from the grocery store in which I worked. The store got supplied by Brinks once a week. The person in charge of the office would sell me bank rolled coins. One day I brought home 22 rolls of 1985-D cents. I put them away. Tonight I decided to go through some old stuff and I came across these rolls. Upon looking through the first roll I discovered the coin pictured. In God We Trust looks smooshed and parts of States Of and other words on the reverse are flattened. There are other similar coins in the first roll. Any comments? Should I carefully look through all 22 rolls?
It looks like IGWT was struck through grease. That could be what's going on on the reverse (the E in E PLURIBUS UNUM looks particularly like a strike through).
Leave the rest of the rolls alone IMO. I would set them aside for longer, my guess is you won't find much in the rolls.
If it was me I'd search them for doubled dies. There are some listed on Coneca, Wexler's, and Coppercoins. I don't know what other coins of value could be in there.
85-Ds are notoriously poor, weak strikes. Hi grade, well struck examples are rare and would be worth looking for.
