The blue seal on the silver certificates is one of the most beautiful seal color that the US government produced (aside from the red seals on the legal tender notes). Since blue is also my favorite color, it has a lot going for it. So here are my Blues. Do share your notes as well: 1923 Speelman-White One Dollar Silver Certificate (Fr#237) 1928A Woods-Mellon One Dollar Silver Certificate (Fr#1601) 1934 Julian-Morgenthau One Dollar Silver Certificate (Fr#1606) 1935C Julian-Snyder One Dollar Silver Certificate (Fr#1612) 1957 Julian-Snyder One Dollar Silver Certificate (Fr#1619 ★)
That is one of the most iconic notes that was ever produced and one that is missing from my collection. Hoping to fill that gap soon...
Now the Five Dollars Silver Certificates... 1934C Julian-Snyder Wide Face Five Dollars Silver Certificate (Fr#1653) 1953B Smith-Dillon Five Dollars Silver Certificate (Fr#1657)
And finally the Ten Dollars Silver Certificates: 1934C Julian-Snyder Ten Dollars Silver Certificate (Fr#1704) 1953 Priest-Humphrey Ten Dollars Silver Certificate (Fr#1706)
Just to finish the run, here is the rare 1933 Julian-Woodin $10 Silver Certificate (Fr#1700) which sold for over $30,000 on HA. No, I didn't buy it as I am certain I would have gotten more than an earful from my wife... 1933 Julian-Woodin Ten Dollars Silver Certificate (Fr#1700)
and it has the camp he deployed from, Camp Myles Standish in Taunton Massachusetts , and the note's owner, Captain Henry Greenberg, who was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956....
