STATEHOOD QUARTERS

I found both of these quarters in the same roll. I did some hunting online for this error and of course it only touches on a few aspects of it, so I figured I would bring it to the experts. I took several pics of them but the Tennessee quarter appears to have some slight doubling on AMERICA and IN GOD WE TRUST.. Let me know guys..

Im not positive and could be wrong but the Tennessee Quarter looks like a copper wash, im not 100% sure of that. The hot springs looks like someone took steel wool to it.

 

I looked it up and tested it. it scraps off and it is the same thickness as the other quarters. I hate when people do this stuff. Its gets me all excited for nothing...

 

Just when I think I've got MD nailed down, I see an example like the "In God We Trust" on this quarter and could swear the size of the G and some other letters are larger as does the mint mark. I suppose within minutes someone will say MD, and they will likely be correct. Sure do like the looks of it, anyway.
