    Hi guys n gals.

I've got a few star notes from 1957 and a couple of newer star bills and maybe 30 or so $2 bills. Have put them in those plastic bill sleeves to protect them. But I'm a coin collector really and know very little about bills and how to value them. Where would you start, to learn more about collecting US paper money?

I'm presuming there is a "Red book" for paper money. Maybe you could recommend a book that is good for learning how to grade bills? With lots of pictures?

    Thanks!! :)

The so-called Red Book for US Currencies is the Paper Money of the United States: A Complete Illustrated Guide with Valuations by Friedberg and Friedberg. An incomplete one without the valuations can be downloaded from here:

But, I suggest you purchase the book as it is extremely valuable. Even an older copy is work having around...
