With so much text, the Swiss piece must be a commem. ;) The coin commemorates the 1848 constitution which gave Switzerland its federal structure - the fundament of a stronger Switzerland, as the Latin text says.

The coin from Luxembourg is also a commemorative piece: Jang de Blannen (John the Blind, see here) was Count of Luxembourg. The date (26 Aug 1346) refers to when he died in the battle of Crécy ...

I thought the Commune made them also in 1871? I don't have that one: only the Paris one from 1870.

John the Blind is quite a romantic figure, and was esteemed a nearly ideal knight at the time. At the battle of Crecy he requested of his men 'Sirs, ye are my men, my companions and friends in this journey: I require you bring me so far forward, that I may strike one stroke with my sword.' which he did, though he and his men were all killed in the process.
After the battle, a crest worn by John in the battle and his chivalric motto Ich dien ("I serve") were adopted by Edward the Black Prince, and since then they have been part of the badge of thePrince of Wales and his coat of arms. (Wikipedia)
