I want to buy a large cent. IYO, are these two coins original? Their about the same price, so which one would you pick? http://www.ebay.com/itm/361327665280?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT http://www.ebay.com/itm/371515561561?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I would offer $1450 for the MS65 BN coin. (I like this coin) $1900 for the MS65 RB coin "if it is original"
Although certainly not an expert (or anything near that), I'd go for the MS65 BN. I like that one too.
Yes, they both look original. However, I vastly prefer the look of the BN example. The RB, while technically a "higher" designation, has a lot of dark spots on the obverse which I find extremely unappealing. I wouldn't buy this coin, myself. The BN example has a nice, smooth, even coloration which is vastly more attractive. I would also re-consider your offer. Compare previous sales on Heritage. The coin you have linked is an attractive coin, and your offer is at least a couple hundred dollars lower than the average sale price for the last couple of years. If I were the seller, I would immediately turn down your offer.
I think that they are both appropriately priced and like them both pretty much equally. I assume that you are just going after a nice type coin here, so I would wait for one of an earlier die state as an example.
How about this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1820-Large-...2ce42b1&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=6&sd=361327665280
That one is far more attractive than the other RB you posted above. I really like the obverse of this one. However, the reverse is quite dark. You have to decide if you like it, and like it for the price. With the premium for a RB coin, you're getting a coin that's mostly BN. I think, of the three you've posted, the 65BN is still my favorite.
The BN example has much more eye appeal than the RB example and the RB will likely become a BN coin with time if not already.
While I've dealt with U.S Coins a couple of times your more likely to get a better deal off of their website then ebay, as generally there is quite abit of a mark up between sites, but not on this one.
Why not contact one of the Major Large cent dealers that are EAC and PNG members to see what they have in stock that is slabbed. Lots of dealers are cash poor right now and I'll bet one would beat any Ebay price just to move a coin. I'm reluctant to name anyone in particular over another.
He certainly could, but perhaps it would be wiser to focus more on the coin itself. There are also many fine, very knowledgeable, and infinitely trustworthy dealers outside of this organization.

What are your goals in buying this coin? Are you looking for a type coin? Are you looking to build a date set? Are you looking for investment? Are you just interested in the design? Are you looking for something attractive? Do you want Red, or is Brown okay? Are you looking for a high grade, or is eye appeal more important? Do you place higher significance on value, color, or grade? You've shown us several different coins, each with very different characteristics. If I understand why you want this coin, I might be able to help you more. Both of the coins you've linked here are attractive, but I don't know what you want. (Do you know what you want, or are you seeking our approval? Either is fine - but before spending this amount of money, make sure that *you* know what you want - not just the "experts" on here)
Yes, a type coin. PCGS MS63-65 BN coin that is original with eye appeal no ugly spots. I don't believe in 200 yrs old red copper coins. I would like to pay close to GS bid if that is possible.
I would divorce yourself from that un-realistic goal. I'd like a date with Kate Upton. Never gonna happen.
