What would you grade this as?

    Is this 1939 Canadian half dollar proof-like with a bunch of hairline scratches, or is there something else going on? What would you grade it as? UNC details?

    I agree ...

    Ummm, maybe worth $25-$30 bucks? (a scar on the face is cool in horror movies, but not so cool on coins)

    I don't know the series , but XF Details sounds right . A tiny cud at 9:00 .

    IMO, this coin would be straight graded. All the hairlines seem to be random from circulation. The scratch on the face looks like a large hairline to me.

    I think you're correct especially looking at the bottom pic again , we all know how some pics really make hairlines or hits appear larger . Plus these pics are quite large .
