2015 p nickle. Need help please...dropped number?

Hello everyone, I have a 2015 p nickel that looks like the 5 in the date is either doubled or the number is dropped...any ideas and what I need to do? I have never seen this error on the new nickel before.

It looks like damage to me.

No way t can be damaged. the final loop in the 5 is not even connected and the issues you see at the bottom of the 5 it looks like something outside of damage.

 

I'm afraid your photos aren't very good, but I'm definitely leaning towards what @cpm9ball said... it's 99.99% likely that it's just damage.

 

Then if you know the answer already, why bother wasting our time with the question?

 

Yep, gotta love the new members that ask for information and when an experienced collector gives them some they turn around and pretty much call them a liar!

Of course you haven't seen it on a nickel before because it is not an error. It is damage. I'm thinking that the small ding on the rim to the SSW was caused by the same thing that hit the "5".

If a 5 was dropped on it, it must've been 5 kilos. The rim in that area took a pretty nasty hit.
