Any Russian of France Gold coin experts? Suspected fakes

    Awesome! All of his coins have been removed. I don't know if it was ebay or him, but my guess it was ebay. He sent me a really hateful message saying none were fake, then blocked me. I have a feeling he will relist.

    I got a chance to look at the foreign gold before they were removed, nothing blatantly wrong about them.

    what makes you think they are fake. I have some 'Roosters' from France that look good, but maybe Im missing something?

    They have been removed, so you cannot look at them anymore to see if they are good.

    I had a look when they were still available. I'm somewhat concerned - the edge looks like what it should however the relief did look somewhat odd from memory. Agreed, something was not quite right but it could have been the angle of how the photos were taken.

    Considering all his $2 1/2 and $5 gold were fake, I would not doubt all those were as well.
