Checking his feedback, he's been getting a few nasty ones. Overall, his feedback is abysmal. However, its hard to see it when its buried in all the positives! http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=aboncom&Dirn=Received+by
Keh,I thought that once an Ebay vendor got 3 negatives,he (or she) would get their account closed down.I am very surprised by reading those results on that Toolhaus link. Aidan.
Pssst, hey mister...I'm all out of bridges.....wanna buy a nice coin ? They ARE out there, hard to believe but heres the numbers. Member Profile: aboncom 57553 Feedback It was mentioned earlier on this thread aboncom/sgs is only on ebay. I've seen Aboncom on Yahoo and Overstock and a few more. And SGS slabs from other sellers are showing up all over the place. Heres a good one,1 year on eBay w/5,000+ sales of mostly SGS product and has 6 total purchases w/none from Aboncom. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...serid=capc123&items=-1&item=8404974007&de=offhttp://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...serid=capc123&items=-1&item=8404974007&de=off Zak, hurry back and use the generic term 'Abomb' so you don't get booted again !
I tried to log on, but I guess my "week" is now well past 10 days. Aboncom/SGS/Star Grading Service (one in the same) must not be happy with the facts forums like this have uncovered about them. Save a newbie from these people, pass the word!
Here's a big difference, though, and what could constitute fraud. When qeustioned about one's relationship with two affiliate companies on two distribution teirs in the same industry (manufacturing and distribution), does David Hall deny having any vested interest or ownership in PCGS? In the same, does the owner of Abcon deny any ownership or vested interest in SGS? Abcon claims the coins are grading independantly and by a Third party. Now, in order to meet the claim of independant, the distrubutor cannot have any vested interest or ownership in the manufacturer. This would not constitute fraud so much as it would likely constitute falicy in advertising. The second aspect of advertised claim DOES constitute fraud in many States. This is the aspect of "Third Party". IF Abcon, in fact, does hold vested interest and/or ownership in SGS, then the claim by the distributor (Abcon) that the manufacturer (SGS) is a Third Party will constitute fraud since the distributor has direct First Party control, interest, and influence. "Third Party" is a term that deals with legal identity. Falsely identifying yourself or your entity, or the relationship between two affiliated entities, in order to gain financially is fraud. You could always put in a report to www.ripoffreport.com regarding Scumburger 'Grading' 'Services',Aboncom,& Stevesgiftshopp. Aidan.
Roy. We have a lot of new members here that may not have this info, is there a rule here about post over a year old just asking my friend for my info. Bruce.
No there isn't a rule but many many times people bring back an old thread and some members don't look at the date the thread was started and think that it is new news---somtimes that doesn't matter and sometimes it can mess others up. Speedy
HA. I was gonna say the same. I think I'll set up my own grading service We can use my barn. Who'll make the costumes?
