Hello just checking if any of these are worth getting appraised? Thank you! 1900 morgan coin 1884 morgan coin 1883 morgan coin
Nope--the 1900s is a good date, but in the condition yours is in, it is worth about 35-40 dollars at most.
I just saw one of these on Heritage Auctions 1884-O. So far the Auction price is up to $92.00 but if was graded. I guess it would depend on the cost of grading the coins.
Don't go to the expense of getting those slabbed. But if your local coin guy will give you an appraisal for free, go for it.
I bought a 84-O in MS64 for $65. I'm sorry, but your coins is not even AU, so you'll be adding more cost into the coin than it's worth. It's still a nice looking coin. I'd keep it in an airtite holder.
I'm a big fan of air-tite capsules... Available from many sources, like this: http://www.jpscorner.com/airtite-coin-holders.html
ANACS has a $10/each grading special right now: http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/Specials/DollarsandCents_Special1.aspx I submitted 19 Morgans today. Mostly circulated & common dates. Only an hour drive, so I saved shipping costs. Hopefully the slabs will add value and they'll sell quicker -- locally on Craigslist. (Or I might try selling on ebay for the first time.)
