    If the mint made fractional gold reverse proofs I would buy one.

    The coin looks legit but the reverse proof look on the obverse was obviously someone's idea of being creative. It's a shame that they ruined the coin as far as coin collectors go. That's a shame!

    Well at least the seller warns it has been cleaned and polished. If he did it, may he choke on it.

    The mint did not do reverse proofs back then.


    besides, I hate the new reverse proofs

    Ex-jewelry. You can see the bezel clamp marks (digs) on the back.
    Close to 1/4-oz of gold, that's about it.
