I got this coin out of a roll an hour ago and was wondering what happened to it? It has some sort of streaks running across it. It almost looks digital. I took several photos in different lighting.

It's just a consequence of the way the alloy mixed in this particular cent. It's not considered an error and doesn't add any extra value to the coin, but some people like them. They're called "woodies" because it kind of looks like wood grain.

    Woodie. Google Woodie Cent.

There are some (raises hand) who would take a Woodie before a normal coin. They seem a lot less frequent in the more recent decades (before the switch to clad).
