I am not sure on your 2nd coin (Medal). wait for the Medal collectors in here to tell you more about that 1.
Saxony, German States. KM#962. 1763 FWoF. Bust of Friedrich Christian. F $60, VF $125. This one looks VG/F. Hard to tell with angle of photo. 2nd coin looks like a medal to me also.
ruler - Frederick III, I've been collecting him, he's only on 1888 coins as he died 99 days after becoming King of Prussia & German Emperor. 1888 was the year of three Emperors - Wilhelm I is on 1888 coins too but not the 5 mark and Wilhem II is on some 1888 coins as well but not the 5 mark.
I like the medal (I also have a thing for cornucopias) but have no idea what it might be. Some of the silver medals from that period trade for very low premiums over their PM (precious metal) content, which always leaves me scratching my head. Your grandfather had an excellent eye for picking out unusual pieces that are likely to catch a collector's attention.
The Chinese 1 yuan coin is dated 1933. As far as I am concerned, it looks genuine. Value wise - market seems to be all over the place for this. At one stage it was over 100 USD for a similar condition. At bare minimum, this should go for at least 60 USD.
