2001 JFK not Doubled die but?

    This isnt a doubled die but anyone have a clue about this? there is rolling damage but the rest is new to me. 2001ken.jpg ken2.jpg ken3.jpg ken4.jpg

    Here's an interesting strikethrough that came out of a Mint bag. I'm not sure if it was a piece of wire, cord or something similar that caused it.

    If it's indented into the coin then you are looking as PMD almost all of the time.

    Is this is response to the OP, Chris, or....? If the former, yes... I don't see anything other than what has already been explained to him, but if to Chris, and just for the sake of clarity, his example would be one of the exceptions to the/your "almost all of the time" rule.
