The 89 of the date has some incuse die deterioration doubling. The 9 of the date looks like a doubled die. depending on the light so does the 89. The bottom of the bust may have some doubling as well. What do you people think?
This is probably the best picture. I can see the incuse trench to the East side of the 8, and 9. At the same time I can see the extra thickness on the tails of the 9's. Or should I fuggedaboutit..... A nice extreme example anyway. file it away
