I received this email today after I ordered a Mark Twain Commemorative Gold $5 Uncirculated coin. I do not know if it is a coincidence or not. I do not live that close to San Francisco to attend so I do not plan to. Has anyone else received this email, and if so, plan to attend? A couple of years ago I was invited to participate in a focus group for one of our area survey companies on issues from the US Mint. They were concerned mostly with their email offerings and how things should be presented. They weren't focusing on comments regarding the amount or type of offerings.
I don't know, sounds funny to me - in person, 8 to 10pm. I'd call Mike White's office at the mint to verify.
This is the same amount we made when I did the focus group several years ago. It's not an unusual rate for a 2 hour group.
