But if 95% were fake I would say 80% would get charged back in addition to secret service being involved for counterfeiting.. Altering a bill no matter how is counterfeiting just like bleaching a 1 dollar bill and making it a 100 dollar bill....I have 1000's of the old bills mostly from the early 1900's in many denominations be it 1's to even a 10,000 dollar bill my grandfather kept in his safety deposit box to present and all the older ones before any changes came along can be altered
so Idiot bait as you call it might be good as you are not bidding and I get it for less and make more money off it with all the protections. If I listed a 10000 dollar bill for the going price crispy I am sure it would be graded but even if it is not it would still go through scrutiny to make sure it is real graded or not
As for the grading companies there are already people out there cloning the security codes and making the casements and encasing coins and bills with all the new technology so for that matter it could be idiot bait as well to a few shows all over the country with some fake 1895 morgan's and sell them for half or 2/3rds and make some serious cash and be gone by the time they catch up and if you insist on cash, cashiers check or money order you are home free and no one knows which one of the numbered morgans is the real one as you can sell off 4 or 5 of them all over the country to coin stores and pawn shops

So sorry i didn't take the time to do research for what i suspected was a common scam after a double shift and at 4am.

Despite your claims, I didn't say much of what you claim I do in your latest ramblings, but I'm not going to pick it apart because it's plain to see. If I didn't care about others I wouldn't have been the one to try to caution the OP, albeit in a curt, succinct manner.

 

Upon further research threw the links listed above and a few other resources I've found out that this is indeed an authentic error and that there is only 32 of them that exsist for this years production run. So with that being said, Any ideas on value?
