Some more eye candy Got these a few weeks ago and they just arrived. Whatcha think of em? Here's what I'm into them for: 81cc- $470 81s- $375 82s- $350 21hr- $500 net (was $640 but it saved me about $140 in taxes) I think I did well on all but I'm done until long beach so I have ample cherrypicking funds cuz you never know the deals to be had at big shows
Heritage has an office in cali and cali law is that coins & bullion over $1500 on the invoice can't be taxed but under $1500 can. I won the three which was over $1200 causing a $100+ sales tax charge. So I had to buy something that pushed the invoice over 1500 thereby saving me the money I would have paid in sales tax. Now, if heritage didn't have an office in cali there would have been no tax charge for any amount but since they do I have to be smart about it and spend a little more to pay a little less. Kinda like a coupon lol
That makes sense. I've never gotten close enough to the threshold in one go to make it worthwhile to do something like that. Also, most of my buying takes place at shows, where prices typically "include" sales tax (wink wink).
21 HR was still $640. Even if it prevented you from paying taxes, you still have that much in it. It just prevented your other coins from being more expensive.
Yeah dave, I was surprised I picked it up for standard 66+ money. Now add the bean and the color and it's gotta be a $500+ coin maybe even as high as $800 +/- I'd think. Here's a 66+ ngc without a bean or any color at almost $300 with 4 hrs left 291656657210
Thanks guys! Hell to the no. Why remove them as they remind me where they came from and a referance to easily find the listing again in the future. I haven't sold any heritage buys yet but when I do I'll asses weather I leave it on or not then I guess
That's stupid, man. If that were a Thanksgiving meal you'd have to sit in the living room chair for hours afterward. Not a poor buy in the bunch, and better as a group than individually. Humor me and have a look for die polishing around WE on the 1921.
