Thank you all for the nice comments, just received my Athena imitation what a beauty, tomorrow I have a powerlift course, so I need to get to bed early )
Wow, Cyrrhus => thank god I don't have a power-lifting course tomorrow!! (oh, but good for you) ... tomorrow, I plan on lifting food and booze to my mouth (end of chore!!) Oh => all three of your new coins are very cool (congrats) Nero, Rhodes and Athena imitation, eh? ..... okay, I'm game to play ... cheers, brother ...... have fun at tomorrow's course (great effort)
Both the OP coin and Steve's Victory as show the ball on the point of the bust usually accepted as a sign of the Lugdunum mint.
Interesting ... is that actually a truth, or merely today's awesome observation? (I have never noticed that there was a "ball" at the point of my dude's bust ... but yup, there it is!!) ... very cool (thanks => I'll append my coin-notes) Oh, and that really is the cool thing about the way that I keep my coins in "3-ring- binders" ... I can always add pages of forum-conversation to my notes, so things are never lost (try doing that with your 2 x 2 flips!!) *whatev* ..... old-school, and lovin' it!!
