Found this today in my pocket change. It's the best wheat cent i've found in circulation in a while. Based on the pics provided what grade would you say its in?
Wow this is a first. Normally the thread starter says he found doubling and everyone tells them it's machine doubling or nothing. Here we have someone telling OP he might have doubling and OP saying he sees nothing. Amazing.
I see something but from what I see it looks like the coin has some shift doubling and thats MD isnt it?
or die deterioration doubling , im trying to learn the forms of doubling. it's a slow progress but I will learn
well back to the been a while since I found a wheat in this condition what grade would anyone grade it as?
What about the coin makes you say "Details"? I see a fingerprint, but that's expected on a circulated coin. (As are the minor rim bumps). I'd call the coin AU-50/53. The color/luster seems a little weird, but I'm going to interpret that as due to your photography technique.
The rim bumps are questionable to me, but the reason I said details is because it looks to be cleaned. That could well be the pictures, but that is how it looks to me.
