I am new to this site and I only made an account to see how much value this dime has. I found it on 1/10/2016 amongst the rest of my change. I always try to look for interesting coins with flaws. I have searched several sites about coins but I don't know what to look for. If anyone can be of assistance with this, it would be greatly appreciated. It has the "face" side but not the "tail" side. It also has an indentation on chin which kinda cuts it apart. the only word on it is "LIBERTY". There is no date.

    Welcome Devon.
So far I believe what you have is PMD - Post (after it left the Mint) Mint Damage
The term you need to understand for "flaws" is Error Coins.

Here is a good website to help you in understanding the different types of errors -

Sorry but your coin has no extra worth besides its 10c denomination.

Your dime is suffering from an extreme case of Post Mint Damage (PMD). Welcome to CT. Stick around, you may find we're fun and learn something in the process. :)

Photos are useless but it appears to have been scraped by a snowplow/road grader/ect. PMD period...
