Very cool arrowhead! I've owned so many junk silver dollars, but this adds an extra layer of interest...... Everyone always thinks about the wild west when they see old silver dollars, might as well make it look even more wild. Those new silver bullets are interesting, but this has some history to it. Just wish we could see some of the design still.

Honestly, Tommy, I'm still kinda feeling my way around being pacifist by nature in a contentious forum. I got your point without problem, which is why I threw the smiley of my own into my post.

 

Wonder what Heritage Auctions could get you for that? After all, they just proudly sold a nail for $42,000.

I'd be a little careful with that assertion. "They" meaning Heritage, were just acting as an agent for a owner/seller for that graded nail. I guess Heritage could have refused to sell the item, but I don't see a lot wrong with their actions. They are an auction house for many items, not just numismatic. Now PCGS grading that nail, that's another issue.

PS: I might be an apologist for HA since I do a lot of buying from them. I admit it.

 

Native Americans did do a little work in silver but they are rarer than hen's teeth.

Having collected many Indian points through the years and researching them, they did use modern materials when they could. I have seen several points made from the glass insulators off of telegraph lines.

That coin could have came out of Customer's pocket.
