Coin Club Pick Ups

    Well I went to my coin club meeting this weekend and got a few nice items. I got a 1961 1963 1964 proof quarters on the auction for $6.25, some nice tokens, a 1944 nickle in unc with a nice die crack straight across his neck and a smaller one one just above it, a flying eagle and an 1879 and 1894 O dollar in VG+ condition. Here are a few pics of some of them.

    Wow, awesome! Really nice deals on the quarters. Out of curiousity, how much did you pay for the nickel? Very nice! :thumb:

    I paid $4 bucks for it. The seller had several he wanted $5-$6 for but since this one was not a prime example (according to him the die crack hurt it) he only wanted $4. Sounded great to me.

    I'll say! I think I'm going to return mine, paid $20 for mine! Man! I think I'm going to go visit my dealer pretty soon. :D Very nice buys!

    Nice snags, but I saw the title and assumed we would be discussing pick up lines at a coin club, ;)

    when i see grime around the letters, and in the fine crevices, but not on the open fields, it always looks cleaned to me ...

    What I'm seeing in my focal area is Gem Proof, at least. Wanna get graded?
