Understand your thinking, but for me for 1 ASE ($20), I'm not all that concerned about a dollar or two difference in price. I bought it from MCM, which I trust. I just want to put it in my Dansco.
Same thing with me, being only a 2 to 3 dollar difference, not a big deal. Now if it was a 12 to 13 dollar difference, then'd it be a different ball game. I bought some recently for 20 bucks apiece and I came away happy.
I UNDERSTAND YOU GUYS THINKING two or three dollars is not gong to break the bank but that's the way I always have been trying to find a bargain.. save two or three here and two three there and its adds up to another purchase eventually.. Its like going outside when its cold and you have your jacket on but its not zipped up..lol
Mike Mesak has some great deals on 2016 ASE's... http://www.hsn.com/videos/v/1123020...ollar-coin-and-4-coin-grading-certificate.htm
I've found, if you just want bullion (just the value of the raw silver), you're better off buying bars (10oz or 100oz) vice coins. Cheaper per ounce since the production quality isn't so much of manufacturing cost. Still buy a few bullion coins, but the ones the most beautiful in design, and I'll usually go for a couple MS70's and/or PF70s. In this case, the price isn't based upon silver, but the quality of the minting. Rounds? I avoid because of the increased over cost over spot compared to bars.
Like congressmen say, "A million here and a million there and eventually it adds up to some significant money".
Along with his famous red box. Somebody needs to shoot him though it would be a bona fide waste of a good bullet.
Oh I love his famous red box.... they really do spice up a slab.... as well as protect it. I think $14.95 for it is pretty good.
