It's hard to tell, the obverse is fuzzy and hard to see. The reverse is pleasing to the eye but I'm closer to VF-20 because of the leaves. As a general rule, I try not to purchase from anyone who photographs a coin while they are holding it. The problem with the obverse is it looks like there are some problems around the 2 o'clock but the photo is so blurry you can't tell. It looks like a scratch going from the star to her head.

probably a good rule to follow about holding the coin but I thought the coin looked like a decent buy for $34 shipped. might change my mind after it arrives but sometimes bad pics enable you to get a good deal.

Well please follow up on this thread and let me know if your gamble paid off! $34 isn't a bad gamble, after all :)

Doesn't seem like a bad price, but the obverse looks like it has that dry environmental damage look. Maybe it's just the fuzzy photos.

Strange that the reverse photos are clear and the obverses are blurry

Images were shot with an inexpensive, high-megapixel point-and-shoot, I think. I can see the overdone in-camera sharpening in some of them. My gut says this one will become a pleasing purchase. :)

For the price paid I think I would be happy with it.

Talk about fuzzy pics... would you buy this?

AND the Seller has little feedback-as-a-seller!

Despite all that, for $44 I took a chance.

For the money I'm very pleased:

Seattlite86 was right when he saw a scratch on upper obverse. Scratch looks much worse in hand so back she goes. Gamble was unsuccessful this time.

That bites! Would you be willing to post your own pictures of it? I'm not trying to rub salt in the wound here, I'm just having trouble picking out what Seattlite86 saw. Some days I swear my contacts aren't strong enough....

I think I see it, approaching the beading. Thanks!

Would I have bought it based off those pictures - no. Then from your pictures you can see it was harshly cleaned - as mentioned in the listing itself. BUT if you are happy that is all that matters.

I also would not have gambled on the first coin in this thread. Fuzzy or bad pictures to me is a sign that something is up when it comes to ebay. I would have asked for clearer pictures.

not a bad idea. Cost me 2 bucks to ship it back so not too terrible.

Would've called it an xf details. Too bad about the scratch was hard to see in the pics
