Cool $2 dollar bill

thought this was cool has a postage stamp on it. Never seen one before.

It's missing the stamp

That series $2 bill was released on April 13, 1976. You could take one to any Post Office, apply a stamp, and they'd postmark it for you. Quite collectible nowadays. I have one that has 6 different towns' postmarks on it!

 

Can you do this with a new bill now? You can send almost anything in the mail, including coconuts. Might be interesting to try it.

 

I don't think they were actually mailed. No address on them

 

I know, but I am wondering if you can get one stamped, etc
